Dining at the Club

The Port Elizabeth St George's Club is proud of its reputation for serving quality meals - and serving them well - Whether it is for breakfast, lunch or evening meals for residents, Members or the public, the professional catering team can always be counted upon to provide the personalised service and the correct cusine for cocktail parties, light snacks or black tie affairs.

The wholesome Monday to Friday luncheon menu includes traditional regular favourites such as tripe & onions, oxtail and mulligatawny.

A la carte and table d'hote menus are available.

Sunday lunch is a generous family-orientated six course meal starting with intriguing hors d'oeuvres and ending with cheese and biscuits and the Club's special blend of filter coffee.

A highlight of the week is on Thursday evenings which is still referred to as "Ladies Night", even though the days of Exclusive Male Membership are long gone. An evening meal at the Club starts off with a relaxing drink in the lounge and ends up as an unforgetable experience.

Private dining & banqueting

The wide versatile selection of venues, with full catering and bar options, makes the Club a prime choice for conferences, business meetings, seminars, weddings, banquets and a host of other large or small functions.

The Club Banqueting team are happy to discuss any requirement you might have, whether it be a private dinner of 10 or a reception for 150. 

All venues are available to hire seven days per week.
